Vegan Dollar Store Finds: Silk Iced Latte, Seaweed Snacks and More!

I have been having some great luck finding cheap vegan and natural foods at my local dollar stores.

On my last visit to the 99 Cent Store in Ventura, I found two things that I thought might be of particular interest to y'all...

These Silk Iced Latte drinks in vanilla and mocha...

And these seaweed snacks from Annie Chun's All Natural Asian Cuisine...

I've eaten seaweed in soups and such but had never had the snacks before. This is one of the things I love about finding natural, organic or veg products at the dollar store -- it makes it so much easier (and cheaper!) to try new things that I might not have tried if I had to pay regular retail prices.

Here are some other things I regularly find at Dollar Tree and the 99 Cent Store that go well with a plant-based diet:

Organic canned beans
Canned vegetables
Bagged rice
Bagged dry beans
Potato chips
Tortilla chips
Frozen berries
Frozen fruit
Frozen vegetables
Coconut water
Flax seeds (whole and meal)
Soy milk
Condiments
Tea bags
Bagged salads
Fresh produce (at the 99 Cent Store)

If you have some sort of dollar store in your area, definitely check it out! It makes it so much easier to eat a plant-based diet or to be vegan on a budget!

If you are a dollar store shopper, what natural, organic, vegetarian or vegan awesomeness have you found there? Let us know in the comments below!

I have also purchased many vegan products at the dollar store!...But I feel that I must say....I personally do not purchase any silk product because it is owned by the Dean corporation and they have many other products that contribute to animal cruelty and suffering and that is not acceptable to me as a vegan..many other companies offer similar products

Hi there Alexa!

Thanks for pointing that out. There are many such products that are somehow tied to non-vegan companies - especially with so many smaller companies being purchased by larger corporations. I do try to remember to mention that these products may not be suitable for all veg-identified folks, but sometimes I forget to include that note -- so thank you!!
