I'm always looking for new things to add to the site and ways to improve your experience as a visitor. While I make minor fixes and tweaks all of the time, sometimes I make a couple of changes that are big enough to make them worth pointing out to make sure you can take full advantage of them.
So I figured I would make a quick post to let you know two changes I made last night...
1. Recipes are now printable! I'm not a Web designer, so I'm a bit slow in figuring stuff out sometimes, but eventually I usually catch on. Last night, I finally got around to figuring out how to make my pages and posts printer friendly. I'll be using this on more than just recipes, but my first task was going through and adding it to all of the old recipe posts for food, personal care products and household products.
I also added a print option to some other pages that I thought folks might want to print out, such as the Find Vegan Coupons page and How to Stack Coupons page.
2. You can now search for printable coupons! That's right, there is now a searchable coupon database on the site. I actually have already found a different coupon database that I like better, but hopefully y'all will find this one to be at least a bit of an added convenience until I can justify the higher cost of the one I like more. The best way to get links to vegan coupons is still to follow me on Twitter and subscribe to the blog, but if you are looking for a particular printable coupon, check out the database.
You might also notice that there are fewer visible menu items at the top of the page. Don't be alarmed -- I swear I didn't remove anything. All of the pages are still there, I've just rearranged a bit and added more drop-down menus to make room for some more additions that are in the works!
