4 More Days for Double Swag Bucks with Coupon Savings

5/27/2012

Search & Win
I just wanted to post a quick reminder that there are just four more days left to get double swag bucks (redeemable points) for printing and redeeming money-saving coupons at Swagbucks.

Did you know you can get free printable vegan coupons (and lots of other coupons) on the Swagbucks site and earn points every time you use them? This is a perfect way to stack coupon savings and earning programs to extend your dollar as far as possible. Membership is free and signing up is fast, so it's definitely worth it.

Here is how it works:

Let's say you want an online vegan coupon for So Delicious products.

  1. Login to your Swagbucks account (which is even easier if you are already using the Swagbucks toolbar to earn points while you search).
  2. Print the coupons you want.
  3. Save money on your next shopping trip when you use the coupons.
  4. Earn swag bucks for printing and redeeming the coupons.
  5. Save up those swag bucks and redeem them for gift cards, cash deposited in your PayPal account, donations to charity or a variety of prizes available on the Swagbucks site.

Normally, you receive 10 swag bucks for each coupon you print and redeem; however, they are giving out double bucks throughout the month of May -- which means you have four more days to get 20 swag bucks per coupon! Of course, even if you miss the May deadline for double points, you still get the 10 swag bucks they usually offer up for each coupon used.

Head over to Swagbucks to sign up and start printing free online coupons now!

Earn Gift Cards and Make Extra Money Online with Swagbucks

4/30/2012

SwagBucks

What it is: According to their website, Swagbucks is the largest online point-earning program around. With the Swagbucks program, you earn points for things you would already do online -- like shop and search -- as well as for specific tasks. Once you have acquired enough points, you can redeem them for cash or gift cards.

How to Earn: Print and use coupons, vote in daily polls, take surveys, search the Web, shop online, complete special offers, complete tasks, watch videos, trade in books and video games, play games, refer friends, purchase daily deals

Rewards: Cash deposited in PayPal account, products, gift cards to sites and stores, including amazon.com, ecomom, Travelocity, Restaurant.com, Starbucks, Barnes & Noble, Fandango, Sears, Regal Entertainment Group, iTunes, Home Depot, overstock.com, JC Penney, various gaming cards (EA, Xbox Live, Playstation Network), Zappos.com, Lowe’s and tons more

My Experience: I have been a member of Swagbucks for a while and primarily earn points by doing some of my online searching through the Swagbucks toolbar. I rarely remember to click the little "Earn" tab (which lists all of the available point-earning opportunities) or to check my Swagbuck inbox. If I remembered to do those two things, I would probably have at least four times the points I have now. I am, however, a freelance writer and a blogger, so I am always looking something up online, which is why the Swagbucks program appealed to me. I love to earn even a little money while I'm just doing the stuff I would normally do anyways.

Getting Started: Register at the Swagbucks website.

Earn Viggle Points Faster - Quick Tip

4/25/2012

Are you Viggling yet? If not, check out my original post about making extra money by earning points with Viggle and redeeming them for gift cards to your favorite stores.

If you are just getting started on Viggle, you might be wondering how to earn Viggle points faster, which is why I figured I would post this quick tip that has helped me earn enough points for about $40 in gift cards so far (I haven't been doing it that long).

You probably already know that you can earn lots of points by checking in through Viggle when you watch television, especially if you watch some of the featured shows, which are worth way more points. While you are watching television (or any other time of the day), you can also flip through the featured shows listings in search of point-earning videos that are sometimes listed among the shows.

What you might not have noticed yet is that you can find tons more videos to watch for points by taking the time to click on each featured show and open that show's menu.

Here's the deal:

  1. Open the Viggle app.
  2. Go to "What's On" (the first tab on the left).
  3. You will see the first featured show on the screen (a big picture with a point value).
  4. Normally, you would swipe through the pictures looking either for a television show or looking for videos to watch on your phone to earn points.
  5. Instead of just swiping through the list of featured shows, tap on each individual show to open its menu.
  6. Wait a few seconds to see if a white bar appears just below the picture of the show.
  7. This white bar - when it appears - lists available videos that you can watch for 5, 10, 15, 25, 30, 50, 75 or 100 points. (There might also be other point values, but this is what I have seen so far.

Some featured shows will have this white bar and some will not, but it is worth flipping through the list and checking each one to see if there are videos listed on its menu page. It takes just a few seconds to tap on each show and see if the white bar shows up, so this is a great way to earn Viggle points faster and work towards those gift cards and prizes!

Make Money Online with CloudCrowd - Easy Tasks, Fast Payment

4/17/2012

_Here is the third installment of the mini-series I am currently working on to share some easy ways to make extra money (or earn gift cards and products) online. This one pays cold, hard cash (or at least cold, hard digital cash by way of PayPal deposits) by the end of the next business day, so it is a great way to earn extra cash fast. I know one person who uses this site as part of her regular income-earning activities on a daily basis, as well as several who pick up some extra gigs through this site in between freelance projects. I've also tested it out myself, so I can verify that it is legit, pays on time and is an easy way to pick up short tasks whenever you feel like earning a few extra bucks.

What it is: CloudCrowd is a workspace where you get paid for completing tasks, such as writing articles and product descriptions, finding quotes online, editing or data entry. While this is still what most people would likely consider low-paying work, they did just increase the pay offered for different projects -- and they offer small bonuses. According to their site, workers can now earn $15-$25 per hour. The big plus on this one is that they pay either the same day or the next day (via PayPal), so if you are in a tight spot and need some fast money, this is one site where you can get it.

How to Earn: You must have a Facebook account. Complete tasks, including writing articles, writing product descriptions, creating resumes, summarizing business guides, evaluating website experiences, verifying data, data entry, translation, performing research tasks, editing documents and more.

Rewards: Money! (deposited in your PayPal account by the end of the next business day)

My Experience: I signed up for CloudCrowd just to check it out -- and confirm that it was legit -- before recommending it to others. I completed a few tasks and was paid promptly. I typically stay a bit too busy with my freelance work to hit up sites like this for extra money, so I have not spent a lot of time there, but I can definitely see how people could easily use CloudCrowd to make money between gigs or as a side job. It's definitely staying on my list of possibilities.

Getting Started: Sign up here. Remember: You must have a Facebook account in order to pick up easy gigs off of CloudCrowd. If you do not have one, you can sign up for free.

Do You Viggle? Earn Gift Cards or a Kindle Fire for Watching TV!

4/16/2012

While this point-earning program does not hand over cold, hard cash, it provides a super simple way to earn points that you can exchange for gift cards or products. In my book, if you can get gift cards for stores where you would be shopping anyways, that's the same as making extra money, so I'm putting this in the money-making category.

What it is: Viggle is a new point-earning app for iPhones, iPads and iPods that will soon also be available for Android devices. This is one of the few chances in life to actually get paid for watching television. If you aren't much of a television watcher, you can still easily earn points to redeem for gift cards by watching short videos on your phone. But if you are a big television fan, you will be amazed at how quickly you can earn points by watching videos on your phone while watching your favorite television programs (after checking in, of course).

How to Earn: Check in while watching television programs, watch videos, play along on your phone during television programs, share your check-ins

Rewards: Gift cards (specifically: e-gift cards delivered via email), charitable donations, movie tickets, products (like a Kindle Fire or iPod Touch)

My Experience: During the first nine days after signing up for Viggle, I earned just over 37,500 points, which includes a 1,500-point bonus for signing up. That is enough for one $25 Best Buy gift card or five $5 gift cards to stores like Barnes & Noble, Starbucks, Sephora and more. I've noticed that new reward options are still being added, which makes sense, since this is a new program. I have probably earned these initial points a little quicker than the average (non-TV addict) user would, since I have specifically been testing out this program to include on the blog; however, even if you use the app less than I did in my first nine days, it will be super easy to earn points. On the other hand, if really like television, you can rack up points way faster than I did.

Getting Started: Download the app from the iTunes store. Visit the Viggle website to learn more.

Ebates: Earn Cash Back for Your Regular Online Shopping

4/16/2012

Folks who like to save money usually also like to know about ways to make money. So I am going to start adding some posts about different websites and programs that offer legitimate ways to make money online. I will only be adding programs that have been tested out either by me or by someone I know who has confirmed that the program is legitimate and has paid them.

Let's get started with the first one, shall we?

_Have you discovered Ebates yet? If not, read on to find out how easy it is to earn cash back when doing the regular online shopping you would be doing anyways.

What it is: Ebates is an easy way to earn cash back for purchases you make online. By shopping online through Ebates, you can enjoy special discounts using coupon codes provided on the site, while also earning cold, hard cash every time you make a purchase at a participating online retailer. There is no membership fee and no mail-in rebate forms or other hoops to jump through --– you just shop online through Ebates and earn cash back.

How to Earn: Shop online at more than 1,500 retailers and earn cash back for every purchase. For example, at the time of this writing, Sephora shoppers receive 8% cash back, Target shoppers get 6% cash back, Best Buy customers receive 1% to 3.6% cash back and Drugstore.com shoppers get 6% cash back. You simply login to the Ebates website before you do the online shopping you would be doing anyways. You can even add your favorite stores to your profile to make it faster and more convenient to find the stores you regularly shop at online.

Rewards: Money! You can choose to either receive a check in the mail or a deposit in your PayPal account for whatever you have earned during each three-month earning period. You can also opt to have the money you earn donated to a charity or sent to a family member. The minimum payout per quarter is $5.01, so if you have earned less than that, they will just roll that over into the next earning period.

My Experience: This cash back program couldn’t be simpler. You sign up with just your email address, so it’s easy to get started and see if you like the program. I don’t do anything special; I just shop online like I normally would at retailers I would normally visit. You can track your earnings as you go along, which is nice. Then, every three months, you get paid whatever cash back you have earned (if there is $5.01 or more in your Ebates account at that time). I use this program, so I can verify that it is a legitimate way to earn cash back when shopping online. It’s also great to get to stack deals by using coupon codes and earning cash back on the same purchase.

Getting Started: Head over to the Ebates website to sign up. Once you are there, you will find all the information you need to start earning cash back every time you shop online.

This post includes a referral link.
